What is Reiki, really?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports emotional balance. It’s based on the idea that we all have an energy flow in the body — and when that energy is low, blocked, or out of sync, it can affect how we feel mentally, physically, and emotionally.


During a Reiki session, you simply lie down (fully clothed) and get comfy. The practitioner gently places their hands either on or just above your body, working through different energy points. There’s no pressure, no need to talk — just calm, healing energy flowing where it’s needed most.
