Sound baths have become a meaningful way for people to slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with themselves. Yet behind every grounding sound bath experience is a practitioner who feels confident holding space, not just playing instruments.
This sound bath practitioner training is designed for those who feel drawn to sound healing and want to learn in a way that is practical, supportive, and rooted in awareness rather than performance.
Rather than focusing solely on instruments, this training places equal emphasis on how you hold space, how you work with confidence, and how you begin shaping sound bath offerings that feel authentic to you.
Learning to Hold Space
One of the most important aspects of sound bath facilitation is learning how to hold a calm, steady, and supportive environment. This includes understanding pacing, energy, boundaries, and how people may respond differently to sound.
Throughout the training, you’ll be guided to develop a felt sense of presence, learning how to remain grounded, responsive, and confident while facilitating. This focus on holding space helps you move beyond simply playing instruments and into offering experiences that feel safe and intentional.

Building Confidence as a Sound Bath Practitioner
Many people feel called to sound healing but hesitate because they don’t feel confident enough yet. This training is designed to gently build confidence through experience, practice, and supportive guidance.
You’ll have time to explore what it feels like to facilitate, receive feedback, and grow more comfortable guiding others. Confidence here isn’t about performance or perfection, it’s about feeling steady in yourself and trusting your ability to lead a session in your own way.
Exploring Techniques and Finding Your Own Style
During the training, you’ll be introduced to a range of sound healing techniques and instruments. Rather than prescribing a single way of working, the emphasis is on exploration and understanding how different sounds, rhythms, and approaches can be used.
This allows you to begin shaping sound bath experiences that reflect your own values and interests, whether that’s deeply restorative sessions, gentle wellbeing events, or sound baths integrated into other practices.
The aim is not to copy a formula, but to leave with the confidence and understanding needed to create offerings that feel aligned and sustainable.
A Supportive, Small-Group Learning Environment
The training is delivered in a small group setting to allow space for practice, questions, and personalised support. Learning alongside others often helps normalise uncertainty and build confidence more naturally.
You’ll be supported with clear guidance, a detailed training manual to revisit after the course, and a certificate of completion accredited by the IPHM. Ongoing connection through a practitioner community is also available, offering reassurance and support as you begin offering sound baths yourself.
